Feature: Lisa Vicious Day 6

And so we come to the end of another exciting feature. Thank you so much for being our feature this week, Lisa! Your poetry passionately reveals your inner workings as much as it shines a spotlight on what is left in the aftermath of mental and physical abuse. It takes an amazing amount of courage to share that experience with others. You give a voice to those souls who have been silenced by violence and, as we have seen in previous posts, you have made a positive difference in the lives of others. Kudos to you! I look forward to watching your writing career unfold.

Currently I am half way through the process of writing my third poetry book due out in January 2010. I have a poll on my website (www.viciousaries.com) where readers can vote on the name of the new book. I've listed several working titles. At the end of August I will choose whichever has the most votes. So far, "Death Rattle & Shake" is in the lead! I am also writing my memoirs, which is still in the baby stages.

I have two previous books. "Take for Pain as Needed," released on Valentine's Day 2008, has rave reviews. I put a teaser download up a week prior to its release and it was downloaded over 200 times in 5 days! Not bad for a nobody, I guess! My first book, "The Devil in Ms. Vicious" sold out within a couple months and since it was my first book, I didn't really know what I was doing. It is amazing it did so well. I decided to create a second edition and am going to re-release it in September with bonus material and a new look.
